The ABPS is governed by the American Board of Medical Specialities (www.abms.org). It is our hope that patients in search of a plastic surgeon will take a few minutes to insert their email address where required on the site and take a close look at the only Boards recognized by the ABMS.
Certification by an ABMS Member Board has long been considered the gold standard in physician credentialing and has prompted both the medical community and patients to now inquire, with greater frequency, whether or not a physician is Board Certified in their field of practice.
